To share with Mosque representatives from across the country how to move towards a reduction in single use plastic We aim to start with the month of Ramadan as a key time when Muslim communities will eat together and a time when single use plastic is often used for convenience.
We will share what we have done in a pilot project in Bristol and hear about what others may have initiated in their localities.
By bringing together this shared practice we can have a more national approach to reducing single use plastic the whole year round.
In this way we can work with and role model for our communities.
